About Us

WELCOME  to our practice, Sutton Park Dental Centre, a calming, contemporary environment in which we offer the highest levels of dental care, preventative advice, expertise and professionalism, delivered by a caring, sensitive and dedicated staff who are, one and all, committed to clinical excellence.

TREATMENT CHOICE

Sutton Park Dental Centre provides a fixed, limited quantity of NHS treatment each year. If you request NHS treatment, we will try to accommodate you, subject to the overall quantity of NHS treatment that NHS England, Arden, Herefordshire and Worcestershire  has agreed that we supply. The Government's restructuring of NHS dentistry now stipulates, however, that NHS patients are no longer ‘registered’ with a dentist.

Should a situation develop where ‘demand’ for NHS treatment exceeds ‘supply’, appointments will be allocated in a fair, equitable way. In this instance, the booking of NHS appointments, for both routine and emergency treatment, is to be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

NHS England, Arden, Herefordshire and Worcestershire has confirmed that, should we have additional spaces, we may offer these as non-NHS appointments.

Please ask at reception for further clarification of your options for services, whether on an NHS or a  non-NHS basis.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Treatment is provided within a quality-assured system that includes infection control, health and safety in the workplace, radiological protection and CPD (continuing professional development). We can assure all visitors that appropriate steps are taken to protect both patients and staff whilst at Sutton Park Dental Centre.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Patient confidentiality is of great importance to us; all patient information is treated in the strictest of confidence, in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Recommendations. If you would like a copy of our practice Confidentiality Policy, or access to your personal dental records, please contact the Practice Manager, Damien John. We may need to pass on certain information to other health care bodies (e.g. hospitals and other health care professionals) in order to facilitate patient care.  We will ask your permission before doing so, and your patient rights will always be maintained. Our clinical staff have access to patient details on a ‘need-to-know’ basis.

However, Mr. John assumes overall responsibility for confidentiality and security issues, ensuring that disclosure procedure is adhered to by all authorised ‘users’.
